Jamie Bosse

Lead Financial Planner, Aspyre Wealth Partners

A “Goldilocks” career is how Jamie Bosse describes her professional experience. Her first job after graduating from Kansas State University and its financial planning program was with a small Dallas planning firm. After two years, her husband was transferred to Portland, Oregon, where she joined a big bank. Seven years later, the couple moved home to Kansas, where Bosse, 37, now works for an RIA firm whose size is “just right.” The mother of four, including 2-year-old twins, said her children’s interest in money and her passion for financial literacy prompted her to write “Milton the Money Savvy Pup,” an educational story about a Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s quest to buy bacon. “I was trying to find a way to talk to my kids about money and make it fun.”

Her second book in the Milton series focuses on developing habits of saving and giving, in addition to spending. She volunteers her time reading the books and educating children and their parents at school assemblies, day care centers, libraries and bank events. She also serves on the board of the Greater Kansas City chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
